Tested Cameras
Aircast streams from any RTSP source, so most cameras will work. The cameras below are ones we have verified end-to-end: connected, streamed, and viewed in the browser, each with a connection guide. For broader buying advice, see the camera comparison guide.
How compatibility works
Each camera on the drone is an RTSP address it pulls from. You add one under Settings → Device → Cameras in the app the drone serves, or in the Camera step of the setup wizard. That splits cameras into three groups:
- Native RTSP: IP cameras and gimbal payloads like the SIYI ZR30 stream RTSP directly. SIYI, Topotek, Viewpro, OpenIPC, Hikvision and Dahua cameras on their factory address each have a one-tap set-up in the camera wizard, Scan for cameras finds most others, and any of them can be typed in as a Camera RTSP URL.
- Raspberry Pi camera on the ribbon cable: the wizard sees it and offers to use it.
- Everything else. USB webcams and thermal cores need something that serves them as RTSP first, then they are added by that address the same way.

4K, 180x hybrid zoom gimbal with native RTSP and no transcoding. Tested and supported.
OpenIPC over USB →
Tiny OpenIPC FPV camera streaming RTSP over a single USB cable via custom firmware. Tested & supported.
